Bradford NTV 2014 Concert Press Conference

Bradford City is set to host one of the 2014 NTV Music Concerts on the 7th January 2014 at the Coral Windows Stadium.

The event, which is the first of it’s kind to be held in the North of England is a Bengali cultural event, which will feature ten artists from Bangladesh.  The singers will perform at three concerts in the UK, London (2nd January), Birmingham (5th January) and Bradford (7th January).

The concert will include a number of live performances from finalists of NTV’s 2013 Close Up Show (X Factor), including Sultana Yasmin Laila, Keya Rahman, Abanti Deb Sithi, AB E Zannat, Rituraj Baidya, Sohafg, Sefali Sargam and Prianka Biwswas.


A press conference to launch the event was held at the Coral Windows Stadium on Thursday, were the event was backed by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, David Ward (MP) Subrina Hussain (NTV, CEO) and Helen Clarke (Barclays Bank).

Speaking at the press conference Mr David Ward (MP) said he was pleased to see Bradford City Football Club staging the event and being involved in bringing all communities together.  He also thanked Mr Ali and NTV for bringing this cultural event to the North of England for the first time.


Subrina Hussain (CEO) of NTV said she was looking forward to the event in Bradford, as it was a landmark event being the first in the North of England.  She hoped that the Bradford community would come out and support the event and she looked forward to NTV bringing more cultural events to the area.
