Bantams Make First Summer Signing

Matthew Dolan Signs From Middlesborough

Bradford City can now confirm the permanent signing of midfielder Matthew Dolan from Championship side Middlesbrough.  Dolan has penned a one-year deal with the Bantams once his Middlesbrough contract expires at the end of June.  The deal with City also includes the option to extend his contract for a further season.

Manager Phil Parkinson originally tried to sign Dolan permanently in the final hours of the January transfer window but a deal couldn’t be completed and the midfielder instead moved to the Coral Windows Stadium on loan.

Matthew Dolan is no stranger to Bantams fans as the 21 year-old made eleven appearances for City between February and April during his loan spell in the 2013/2014 campaign, Dolan will be looking forward to joining up with the squad on the 1st July for pre-season training.
