Bradford City Break Christmas World Record
What started out as a bit of fun for the club staff to wear Christmas Jumpers at the Scunthorpe United game has lead to the club attempting a world record.
The record for the largest gathering of people wearing Christmas Jumpers stood at 639 and as part of the record attempt, City invited Bradford Hospitals Children’s Charity along to the game to do a bucket collection.
All supporters wearing Christmas Jumpers were given a raffle ticket as they entered the Stadium, the ticket was used to confirm the number of people taking part in the record attempt and also for one supporter to win a season ticket for 2015/16 season in the raffle draw.
Supporters in the record attempt were also asked to donate £1 to the collection for Bradford Hospitals Children’s Charity as they entered the stadium which has raised well over £1,000 for the charity.
At full time the club asked all supporters to stay in the stadium whilst first team player Ollie McBurnie made the raffle draw for the season ticket and the club photograph took some images of the event.
