Jordan Pickford Returns To Sunderland
Bradford City have today confirmed that goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been recalled by his parent club Sunderland with immediate effect, leaving only Ben Williams and Matt Urwin available for the rest of the season.
Pickford returns to the Stadium of Light having played in all of Bradford City Sky Bet League One fixtures this season, keeping nine clean sheets. His departure means that Ben Williams is likely to be select by manager Phil Parkinson for the trip to Coventry City on Tuesday evening.
Speaking about Pickford’s departure, manager Phil Parkinson said, “We are obviously disappointed to lose Jordan but we always knew that there was a possibility of him being recalled at some point.
Jordan has been brilliant for us all season and it’s been a pleasure working with him, We would like to thank Jordan for all his efforts throughout the season and we wish him all the very best for the future.”
