Bradford City Release Charity Single
Bradford City Football Club are releasing a special charity single featuring City’s own fans and players, which will raise funds for the Bradford Burns Unit. A local band called ‘Never 2 Late’, which includes the football club’s surgeon Dr Steve Bollen has recorded a version of the popular City chant ‘Everywhere We Go’.
The song includes radio commentary from some of City’s memorable F.A Cup ties this season, members of Phil Parkinson’s squad singing some of the lines, plus City’s supporters belting out the chorus during last month’s home match against Fleetwood Town.
The song which was recorded at Peak Studios in Bradford is available for supporters to pre-order now ahead of the official release on Tuesday 28 April 2015. Fans will be able to hear the full song for the first time just ahead of Saturday’s final home match of the season against Barnsley.
On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Valley Parade fire disaster, the single will be priced at just 99p to purchase with funds from the sales all going directly to the Bradford Burns Unit.
The hope is that enough City supporters will purchase a copy to enable the song to break through into the Top 40 of the music charts.
