Turf Moor Redevelopment
There have been a number of changes happening at Burnley Football Club over the last few weeks, both in terms of the stadium at Turf Moor and the boardroom staff.
Work has finally started this week on the office improvements at Turf Moor, part of the stadium on Harry Potts Way has been knocked down, so that the much needed new staff offices can be built.
The new build comprises of a first floor extension from the existing function rooms in the Bob Lord Stand, which will house all the club staff, the completion date for the work is October 2015.
Boardroom Changes
Last week saw the club Chief Executive Lee Hoos’ resign for family reasons to take up the post of Chief Executive with Queens Park Rangers in the Championship next season.
The club have appointed the current Chief Operating Officer and former Bradford City Chief Executive David Baldwin as the new club Chief Executive.
The club have also confirmed this morning that joint Chairman John Banaszkiewicz has stepped down from his role for business and family reason.
Mr Banaszkiewicz will remain a director and board member of the club, but Mike Garlick will become sole Chairman of Burnley Football Club with immediate effect.
