Belgium International Jelle Vossen Agree’s Clarets Deal
Burnley Football Club have today confirmed they have entered into an agreement to sign striker Jelle Vossen from Belgian Pro League side Koninklijke Racing Club Genek, subject to the player agreeing contract terms and passing a medical.
The Belgian International has spent his whole career at Genek were he boasts a prolific goalscoring record of 105 goals in 244 appearance during his time at the Cristal Arena.
Vossen has also spent one season on loan at Cercle Brugge scoring 8 goals in 22 games and a further season on loan with Middlebrough in the Championship last season scoring 9 in 40 appearances.
Nicknamed ‘The Magician’, Vossen is a league and cup winner from his time in his homeland and boasts sizeable international pedigree. He has played in every level of the Belgium side since Under 15 and has now appeared 12 times for the senior international side, scoring twice, after making his debut in 2009.
