Winger Mark Marshall Signs From Port Vale
Bradford City have today confirmed the signing Mark Marshall on a two-year contract, the speedy winger who is equally at home on the right or left flank has spent the last two seasons at Coventry City and Port Vale.
Marshall has rebuilt his career following a two-year ban for testing positive for the stimulant dimethylamylamine whilst playing for Barnet, the supplement was found in an over-the-counter dietary drink Jack3d.
Marshall maintained at the time that he only drank Jack3d on match days to help reduce the level of dehydration during games.
Speaking about the signing manager Phil Parkinson said, “He adds pace and power to the team and his ability to go past players in a one on one situation gives us a really good attacking option, he’s a Reidy (Kyel Reid) type of player that can play on both sides.”
