Brad Jones Released By City
Bradford City Football Club have today confirmed that Brad Jones’s contract has been cancelled by mutual consent and he has been released by the club. The Australian keeper signed for the Bantams in August following his departure from Premier League side Liverpool earlier this summer.
Brad Jones made his City debut in front of the Sky Sports cameras at the Coral Windows Stadium, as City made a 2-2 draw with Yorkshire neighbours and rivals Sheffield United.
The shot-stopper has also featured for Phil Parkinson’s men at home to Peterborough United and away to Colchester United earlier this campaign.
Bradford City’s Chief Operating Officer James Mason said, “We would like to place on record our thanks for Brad’s time and effort whilst at the club. We wish him and his family good luck for the future.”
