Burnley won a corner straight from the re-start which David Jones floated the ball across the area, Keane was having his shirt pulled by lewis Dunk and referee Simon Hooper pointed to the spot. Andre Gray stepped up and slotted to ball home to make it 1-1 after just 3 minutes.
On eight minutes, burnley won a free-kick about 30 yards out after Hennings had been fouled, George Boyd struck a direct free-kick with Stockdale miss judged and the ball went under his body and out for another corner.
After a bit of a midfield battle, Hennings should have put the Clarets in front on 20 minutes following an excellent George Boyd cross, Hennings got in front of his defender and flicked a shot at goal which Stockdale managed to tip over his crossbar.

The second half started just as quick as the first as Rouwen Hennings headed the ball onto George Boyd, but his first time shot from just outside the area went over Stockdale’s crossbar.
The next shot at goal came on 68 minutes when Beram Kayal’s right-footed shot from the edge of the Burnley area went high and wide of Tom Heaton’s Crossbar.
Burnley should have taken the lead on 79 minutes as George Boyd went down the right-wing before cutting into the area, he then played the ball across the area to find Scott Arfield unmarked, but his shot went just wide of the Brighton right-hand post.
Chris Long had the final effort of the game when the ball went passed to players and fell to him six yards out, but his shot went wide and the game finished 1-1.
