Burnley Considering Bids For Henri Lansbury & Alex Pritchard
Burnley secured promotion back to the Premier League on Monday by beating QPR at Turf Moor, the Clarets consistently good performances over the season have lead to a twenty two game unbeaten run under manager Sean Dyche.
The clubs focus has now changed with their attention now switched on sustaining their place in the Premier League long-term. A national news paper has today suggested that Burnley manager Sean Dyche will be going back in for two former transfer targets in the summer, Nottingham Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury and Tottenham playmaker Alex Pritchard.
As reported by the BBC in the summer Burnley made several attempts to sign Nottingham Forest captain Lansbury, with the fee mentioned extending as high as £4 million pound. In January it was reported that Burnley were on the brink of signing midfielder Alex Pritchard on loan from Tottenham after his recovery from a serious injury.
Now that Burnley have been promoted to the Premier League there is no doubt they will have more of a chance in any pursuit of the Forest and Spurs pair to Turf Moor this summer.
