Edin Rahic & Stefan Rupp Complete Bradford City Takeover
Bradford City Football Club have today confirmed that German based investors Edin Rahic and Stefan Rupp have completed the purchase of Bradford City and they are expected to be in charge at Valley Parade by the end of next week.
The club will official announce the takeover at a press conference on Tuesday next week, which will mean the two germans will replace the current joint chairmen Julian Rhodes and Mark Lawn, who will step aside as part of the deal.
Rahic, who is currently CEO of Talent Concept a recruitment company in Munich has had a spell in football as scout of VfB Stuttgart in Germany. The german will have some difficult decision to make over the summer in terms of resource, finances and player recruitment.
Stefan Rupp is currently a director of Fischer+Entwicklungen Aircraft Seat Solutions based in Landshut, the German will work along side Edin Rahic at the Coral Windows Stadium.
Speculation has already begun about the future of City manager Phil Parkinson with links already being made with German Uwe Rosler could be set to replace him as manager before the start of the new 2016/17 season.
