Burnley Looking At Brighton’s Dale Stephen
Newly promoted Premier League outfit Burnley are keen on securing the services of Brighton midfielder Dale Stephens, according to reports
Burnley managed to earn promotion into the Premier League in very convincing fashion and many believe that the Clarets are now well equipped to avoid relegation next season.
That being said though, manager Sean Dyche will be looking to strengthen his squad in certain areas and signing a new midfielder will be a priority, especially after the departure of Joey Barton to Rangers.
A number of players have been linked with a move to Turf Moor in recent times and now according to reports emerging out of England, it has been claimed that Burnley are currently considering a move for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Dale Stephens.
Stephens enjoyed a stunning campaign with Brighton, scoring 7 goals as well as providing 4 assists and he was arguably one of the best midfield players in the Championship last season.
With Brighton failing to earn promotion though, it has been stated that Stephens could make a move away from the Amex Stadium if a Premier League side comes calling for his services and now Burnley are believed to be ready to make a swoop for the 26-year-old this summer.
