According to Voetbal International, Burnley Football Club have contacted FC Twente over the signing of midfielder Hakim Ziyech. The Premier League new boys are willing to pay a hefty fee for the midfielder and are hoping to make a quick deal.
However, Burnley are not the only side chasing the Moroccan with Italian side Roma heavily linked this week and clubs from Germany and Turkey also interested. Ziyech has been widely expected to leave Enschede this summer and its a surprise that he is still at the cash-strapped club given his impressive campaign last season.
Hakim Ziyech made thirty-three appearances for FC Twente last season scoring seventeen goals, whilst making twelve assists.
