The Berlin-born striker had previously been on trial with the club during pre-season, scoring twice in City’s friendly match with near neighbours Bradford Park Avenue last month.

Despite being born in Germany, Rabiega has represented Poland U19 and U20s. Rabiega spent a period earlier in his career in the youth set up at Hertha Berlin before moving to fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in 2013.

Speaking about the signing of Vincent Rabiega City manager Stuart McCall said, “Vincent has come in on trial and done well and we feel he has something we could work with.

He is a young player and someone who we feel we can develop and progress over time. We are still in the market for another more experienced forward but Vincent could give us an extra option.”
