Clarets to Activate Henri Lansbury Forest Release Clause
Burnley are planning a swoop for Nottingham Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury in the January transfer window. Sean Dyche is already scouring the transfer market, whilst he attempt to boost his squad according to media reports.
Lansbury has long been admired by Dyche and it is believed that the Burnley boss is desperate to sign the 25-year-old in the transfer window, especially after losing out on a key player in Joey Barton last week.
In recent developments, claims have been made that Burnley have already set the groundwork for their pursuit of Lansbury and are now ready to activate the midfielder’s release clause at Forest, which is believed to be in the region of around £2.5million.
While Burnley do possess a very good squad, it is clear that manager Sean Dyche will need to strengthen a couple of areas in order to avoid the fate which had befallen upon them two seasons ago.
