Nathan Clarke Leaves Bradford City to Sign for Coventry City
Bradford City have this morning confirmed that Nathan Clarke has left Valley Parade to join Coventry City on a free transfer until the end of the season. Clarke was captain at Leyton Orient when the new Coventry boss Russell Slade was in charge at Brisbane Road.
Clarke spent 11 years at Huddersfield Town playing more than 300 times for the club, before moving to Leyton Orient in 2012.
Speaking about the signing Russell Slade said,”He will bring assurance and knowhow, as well as have a positive impact on the younger players.” Clarke is one of three players to join struggling Coventry as the January transfer window opens.
Striker Stuart Beavon and midfielder Callum Reilly have moved to the Ricoh Arena from Burton Albion, with former Burnley striker Marvin Sordell moving in the opposite direction.
