Chelsea to Recall Patrick Bamford
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to end Patrick Bamford’s loan spell at Burnley and send him out to another club. The 23-year-old joined the Blues in 2012 from Nottingham Forest but is yet to make his first-team debut.
He’s had success and disappointment on loan at Milton Keynes Dons, Derby County, Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace and Norwich City. But this season Bamford has made just six substitute appearances for Sean Dyche’s side.
Chelsea are unhappy with Bamford’s limited role at Turf Moor and want to bring him back before sending him to another club. It is claimed Middlesbrough, Leeds and Wolves have made enquires for Bamford.
Bamford could become the third Chelsea player to return to the club after struggling on loan. Kenedy and Charly Musonda had their loans at Watford and Real Betis respectively terminated in recent days.
