Rouwen Hennings Looking For Full-Time German Deal
Burnley Football Club striker Rouwen Hennings who is currently on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf in the German Bundesliga Second Division. Despite not having a massive goalscoring impact at Burnley the german has scored five goals in fifteen appearance for Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Hennings will hope to push on in the second half of the season which could lead to a permanent transfer to Fortuna from Burnley. The striker himself sounds like he’d be up for such a move when he spoke to German magazine Kicker.
Hennings said, “Fortuna is a club where I could imagine staying longer, however Fortuna and Burnley will have to agree a deal before I can deal with the club. It is not necessarily my main concern now to give everything for Burnley to take me back.”
The striker made it clear he is not looking for a return to his parent club, whilst Burnley themselves have also moved on they’ll be hoping Fortuna can put together something resembling a reasonable transfer fee in the summer, when Hennings will have one year left on his Burnley contract.
