Clarets Break Record Transfer Fee

Burnley Sign Robbie Brady from Norwich City

Burnley Football Club have this evening confirmed the signing of Republic of Ireland international Robbie Brady from Norwich City for a club record fee believed to be around £13 million pound.


Brady has agreed a three and a half year contract at Turf Moor, linking up with his international team mate Jeff Hendrick. The left sided midfielder, give the Clarets options as he can operate in midfield or at full-back.

Brady ends an eighteen month stay at Carrow Road, were he made 34 Premier League appearances for Norwich City last season after signing from Hull City.

The former Manchester United youngster has also been a regular for Norwich in the Championship this season and now returns to the top flight after signing for the Clarets.
