Clarets Winger Joins Burton Albion on Loan
Burnley football Club have this evening confirmed that Michael Kightly has joined Burton Albion on loan until the end of the season. The winger has been allowed to join Nigel Clough’s side for the chance of regular first-team football.
Kightly has been restrcicted to just one Premier League start for the Clarets this season in his nine appearances for Sean Dyche’s side.
The 31-year-old joined Burnley from Stoke City on loan in September, 2013, making the deal permanent in June, 2014. Kightly played his part in two promotion successes and now joins the Brewers to help their fight to stay in the Championship.
