Clarets Sign Non-League Striker

Burnley Sign Harry Limb From Wisbech Town

Burnley Football Club have this morning confirmed the signing of Harry Limb from non league club Wisbech Town.  Limb has signed a contract with the Clarets until June 2018, with an option for a further year.

Limb has scored 22 goals so far this season for Wisbech Town in the United Counties League Premier Division side. The young striker, has previously played for Boston United and has also had interest from Swansea City and Leicester City in the Premier League.

Speaking about the signing Academy Manager Jonathan Pepper said, “Harry Limb is someone who has come on our radar as a natural goalscorer. He’s been playing men’s football and scoring goals.

We have had a look at him on trial and he impressed us with the way he went about it, so we’ve given him an opportunity as well. Like all the players, they will have to work hard to make a success of their careers at Burnley but they’ve started in the right way.”
