Settle v Ribblesdale Wanderers (Ribblesdale Cricket League)
Settle won the toss and elected to bat first against Ribblesdale Wanderers Cricket Club on an afternoon were the weather played a massive part in the result, the first eleven overs were played under blue skies in the Yorkshire sunshine and Settle reached 47 for 1 before the heavens opened and stopped the match for almost two hours.
When the match finally restarted it was reduced to twenty-two overs per side and Settle added a further 68 runs in their remaining eleven overs to leave the Settle innings at 115 for 7. Sadran Ward top scored from Settle with 22 runs from 16 balls whilst Ian Britcliffe took 5 for 68 for the visitors.
Ribblesdale Wanderers then took to the field needing 116 to win, however they could only manage 99 from their twenty-two with B Vorster and C Canning top scoring both with 28 runs, as Sadran Ward to 6 for 38 as the home side took 10 points for the win.
