West Ham United Chasing Andre Gray
West Ham United are set to offer £15million for Burnley striker Andre Gray as they rekindle their interest in the centre forward, with Andy Carroll still enduring injury problems it’s imperative that manager Slaven Bilic brings in at least one new striker to boost his attacking options this summer.
Gray, who joined Burnley from Brentford in the summer of 2015, having smashed 16 league goals in his first Sky Bet Championship campaign with the Bees following a huge step up from non-league Luton Town. He then went on to score 23 goals for the Clarets win promotion back to the Premier League.
Burnley may be open to offers for Gray this summer as the striker has only one year left on his contract after failing to agree a new contract to stay at Turf Moor, Sean Dyche may choose to sell before he walks away for nothing in a year.
West Ham are now believed to be preparing their £15million bid having failed with a similar offer to sign the striker in January. Burnley may look to cash in which would allow West Ham finally land their man, adding pace and energy to their desperately lacking front line.
