Watford To Sign Andre Gray
According to press reports, Watford Football Club have agreed a deal to take Burnley striker Andre Gray to Vicarage Road for a fee of £18.5 million. The Hornets have already had two bids rejected for the Clarets striker, who is in the last 12 months of his contract.
Gray, joined Burnley from Brentford for in the summer of 2015 for £9 million which at the time was a club record fee. The striker scored nine Premier League goals last season, despite a four-game ban for homophobic tweets he sent in 2012.
He was a key part in Burnley’s 2016 Championship-winning team and attracted interest after turning down a new deal. The 26-year-old, is set to undergo a medical later today at Vicarage Road after Watford met Burnley’s asking price for a player.
