Burnley Bid For Waris & Andone
Burnley have made bids for a number of strikers in the last few days including an offer for L’Orient forward Majeed Waris after being rebuffed over moves for Chris Wood.
Waris scored nine Ligue 1 goals last season but was not able to keep his club side L’Orient from relegation and will move on from the French side this summer. L’Orient Football Club are currently holding out for £10million but Burnley would want to pay closer to £8m for the 25-year-old striker, who can operate on the wing or up front.
Burnley have also made an £11.8million offer for Deportivo La Coruna’s Romanian International striker Florin Andone, who scored 12 goals in 32 appearances for the La Liga club last season. Andone, however is not keen on a move at the moment and would like to stay in Spain with Deportivo La Coruna.
Sean Dyche has also had a £10million offer for Hull City midfielder Sam Clucas turned down as he continues to strengthen his squad for the current Premier League campaign.
