Clarets Chasing Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones
Burnley, Glasgow Rangers, Norwich City and Hull City are weighing up a move for Kilmarnock and Northern Ireland winger Jordan Jones, who was given his international debut in November has continued to impress in the Scottish Premiership this season stretching defences with his pace.
Sean Dyche has had the winger watched in recent weeks as the Clarets consider making an offer next month for the former Middlesbrough trainee, who has 18 months left on contract. Jones rapid rise saw him handed the No 7 shirt by Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill for their World Cup play-off against Switzerland.
He is a firm favourite at Kilmarnock were he utilising his pace and skill to good effect, where under the tutelage of manager Steve Clarke he continues to improve. So far this season he has made 24 appearances, scoring three goals and claiming three assists.
