Clarets Considering Cameroon International Karl Toko Ekambi
Burnley, Everton and Crystal Palace are reportedly three Premier League clubs believed to be considering a move to sign Angers striker Karl Toko Ekambi. The Cameroon striker has scored nine goals in eighteen Ligue 1 matches so far this season and reports in France suggest that his performances have attracted attention.
Ekambi, was linked with a move to Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer, although a move failed to materialise and now it is being reported that bids could be made for the forward next month with the Clarets interested the player. It is understood that Ekambi is under contract until 2020 and it could require a big bid to secure his signature.
Ekambi, has spent the last seven years playing in France for three teams, Paris FC were he has made 66 Appearances, scoring 21 goals, Sochaux 72 Appearances, scoring 25 goals and Angers FC 49 Appearances, scoring 16 goals. It now looks to be the right time for the Cameroon International to test his skills in against some of the best players in the world in the English Premier League.
