Burnley Chasing Solly March
Burnley Football Club are set to launch a £10million Bid for Brighton & Hove Albion winger Solly March, who has been a regular for Chris Hughton’s side so far this season, however the Seagulls are braced for a fight to keep March this month.
The youngster joined the club from non-League Lewes in 2011, midway through the first season at the Amex Stadium and has been a first-team regular for the past few years. He made 27 appearances in the Seagulls’ promotion-winning season, and has since made 22 Premier League appearances this term.
After impressing in the top flight he is receiving attention from elsewhere and Burnley are interested in bolstering their ranks in the transfer window, with Robbie Brady out with a serious knee injury and despite already getting Georges-Kevin Nkoudou on loan from Tottenham, Sean Dyche is keen on another winger.
The Burnley manager is a keen admirer and he knows March from when the two sides met in the Sky Bet Championship. It’s understood Brighton are keen to hold on to one of their star men as they look to avoid relegation straight back down to the Championship.
