McBurnie & McLaughlin Set for Scotland International Call Up
Alex McLeish the new Scotland manager is set to give former Bantams Oliver McBurnie and Jon McLaughin their senior international call-ups, when the Swansea City striker and the Hearts goalkeeper will be named in the squad to face Costa Rica and Hungary when it is announced on Wednesday.
McBurnie, who is currently on loan with the Tykes from parent club Swansea City, the Scotland U21 international has been in spectacular form, hitting four goals in his last four games and receiving rave reviews for his displays.
The selection of Jon McLaughlin would be full deserved reward for the goalkeeper who has been exceptional form in-goal for Hearts this season. McLaughlin who appeared in goal for Bradford City in the 2012 Capital One Cup Final has been playing well for the last five or six seasons for both Bradford City and Burton Albion and he has now been noticed since joining Herts in the Scottish Premier League at the start of this season.
