Rangers Set to Sign Scott Arfield
Glasgow Rangers are closing in on a deal to sign Burnley midfielder Scott Arfield on a pre-contract agreement, the Clarets midfielder who is out of contract at the Premier League side this summer and has not signed a new deal to remain at Turf Moor.
The Canadian international joined Burnley from Huddersfield in 2013 and has since made 193 appearances for the club scoring 22 goals, Arfield was born in Scotland and featured in the Scotland U19 and U21 sides before switching his allegiances to Canada.
Arfield started his career in the Scottish Premiership with Falkirk, scoring 16 goals in 124 appearances before moving south to join Huddersfield Town in 2010, he scored 7 goals in 96 appearances for the Yorkshire club before transferring to Burnley in 2013.
