Bradford City have this morning confirmed the signing of striker David Ball from Rotherham United on a season long loan. Ball put pen to paper just minutes prior to Friday’s loan deadline and this announcement comes after the move was ratified by FA and English Football League officials this morning.
The former Manchester City academy talent arriving from Rotherham United and has also enjoyed spells with Swindon Town, Peterborough United, Rochdale and Fleetwood Town, were he has made 330 appearances in his career.
Speaking about joining the Bantams on loan David Ball said, “There were a number of clubs interested in me and as soon as I heard Bradford City had made an approach, I just wanted to make it happen. I have played at Valley Parade on numerous occasions, I’am looking forward to doing so as a Bradford City player.
I will bring goals, I will bring assists and I will do all I can to assist the club challenge, I have done it over the past few seasons in Sky Bet League One and I have been a part of teams who have played play-off football. In December, last season, Rotherham United were close to the bottom of the table and we turned it around and earned promotion.”
