Terry Kennedy Leaves Nethermoor Park
Guiseley AFC have this afternoon confirmed that they have reluctantly agreed to release Terry Kennedy from his contract by mutual consent due to work/personal commitments.
Kennedy, joined the Lions in July from Harrogate Town where he made 31 appearance for Simon Weavers side whilst winning the Away Supporters Player of the Year Award. The Barnsley-born defender had a youth career with both home-town club Barnsley and Sheffield United.
He turned professional with The Blades in 2011 and after 19 appearances in five seasons, which also included a 2 game loan spell at Cambridge United. He then moved on to sign for Alfreton Town making 26 appearances for them in 2016-17 where he linked up with new Joint First Team Manager Russ O’Neill. Before transferring to Harrogate Town last season.
