Lancaster City have today confirmed the signing of Reece Webb-Foster from Northern Premier League Division One side Colne Football Club. The former Bantams midfielder has scored five goals in six appearances for the Lancashire side so far this season.
Webb-Foster, started his career in the academy before winning a full-time contract with Bradford City making his professional debut in Sky Bet League One in 2014 at the age of just sixteen. He then went on to have loan spells in the Vanarama National League with Guiseley AFC, Bradford Park Avenue and Harrogate Town.
Speaking about signing Reece Webb-Foster manager Mark Fell said, “We have been following his progress from the start of the season and when the opportunity arose we felt we had to sign him as he would be an excellent addition to the team. We were looking to strengthen our attacking options and he’s the sort of player that fits the bill. He’s direct in the way he plays, a natural finisher and he’s hungry to get back playing his best football.”
