Clarets Defender Jimmy Dunne to Extend Hearts Loan
Burnley defender Jimmy Dunne looks set to remain a Hearts player until the end of the season after the Jambos agreed a deal “in principle” with the Clarets. Hearts manager Craig Levein revealed the news this morning and it comes as a major boost to the injury plagued side who sit joint top of the Scottish Premier league.
Dunne was brought in in August on an initial loan deal until January after Hearts lost their central defensive pairing of Christophe Berra and John Souttar to injury. His form for the Tynecastle side saw him called up for the Republic of Ireland squad for this weeks match against Denmark.
