Bantams Sign Former Premier League Midfielder

Karl Henry Joins Bradford City 

Bradford City have today confirmed the signing of midfielder Karl Henry on a short term contract. The former Premier League midfielder who has made over 550 football league appearances for teams including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Stoke City and QPR was a free agent after being released by Bolton Wanderers in the summer.

Henry, was at Bolton Wanderers last year who were in a similar situation to the Bantams, having put in some excellent performances he certainly assisted the Trotters to stay in the Sky Bet Championship.

Speaking about the signing City manager David Hopkin said, “He is in great shape and is raring to go, I know he is relishing the chance to come and play at Valley Parade and I think he will do a great job for us. We have been working for a few weeks to get the deal over the line, so we are delighted to have it done.”
