Clarets Linked To Marseille Striker

Sean Dyche Interested in Cameroon International Clinton N’Jie

Burnley Football Club have joined the race to sign former Tottenham Hotspur’s striker Clinton N’Jie who currently plays for French club Marseille. The striker is available this month on loan with view to a permanent move, Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace are also interested in signing the centre forward.

Having joined Spurs from Lyon he made fourteen appearances for Spurs before moving to Marseille following a successful loan spell. The Cameroon international forward has since enjoyed two successful seasons with Marseille, however, the striker has featured just nine times during the current campaign, scoring his only goal in a 4-2 defeat to Lyon.

Sean Dyche is desperate to add to his squad this month, especially in an attacking sense, with the Clarets managing just 21 goals in 21 Premier League games so far. Dyche may well look to bring in the striker who has previous Premier League experience.
