Henri Lansbury Interesting Clarets Again
According to the Reuters news agency, the Clarets are set to make a £6 million pound bid for Aston Villa midfielder Henri Lansbury. Burnley have been linked with the midfield for the last four transfer windows, but as yet the player has not made the move.
Lansbury, started his career with Arsenal where he made just 3 appearances for the Gunners before being sent out on loan with Scunthorpe United, Watford, Norwich City and West Ham United. Then in the summer of 2012 he moved to Nottingham Forest where he spent five seasons making 145 appearances, scoring 15 goals.
He signed for Aston Villa on 20th January 2017 for a reported fee of £3 million and at present he has made just 29 appearances, scoring 1 goal against Leeds United in December 2017 to earn his side a 1–1 draw.
