Clarets Showing Interest In Janssen & Nkouduo
Clarets interested in signing Spurs Dutch international striker Vincent Janssen who has been told he is free to leave White Hart Lane this month for £15million. The striker has battled back to fitness following a foot injury but does not figure in Maurico Pochettino’s plans despite Tottenham’s current injuries.
Holland international Janssen has already turned down a loan move to Sevilla as he would prefer a permanent transfer. There has been tentative interest from China and clubs in the MLS and Janssen, who is popular with team-mates, will consider all options as he looks to kickstart his career.
The Clarets are said to be also interested in taking back Georges-Kevin Nkoudou who had a loan spell with the Premier League club last season, he has also available despite his performance in Sunday’s win against Fulham. Tottenham will stick their policy of not recruiting new players simply to cover short-term injury problems at the club.
