James Hanson Set For Bradford City Return
Reports in the national press suggest that former Bradford City striker James Hanson is set to make a return to Valley Parade on loan until the end of the season. Hanson is the Bantams third highest goalscorer, scoring 77 goals in 283 appearances before joining Sheffield United in the 2017 January transfer window.
Hanson, who was part of Phil Parkinson successful promotion winning and Capital One Cup Final squad was a fans favourite at Valley Parade before leaving and having spells at Sheffield United and Bury (on loan) before joining AFC Wimbledon in the summer.
AFC Wimbledon currently sit bottom of Sky Bet League One and new manager Wally Downs doesn’t see the striker being part of his plans. Hanson has only made seventeen appearances for the club so far this season, scoring two goals but has not featured for the club in 2019 and is therefore available for loan.
