Aston Villa Chasing Ben Gibson Loan

According to Sky Sports sources Aston Villa have approached Burnley to make an offer for defender Ben Gibson, initially on loan until the end of the season, but with a clause to make the move permanent in the summer.

Gibson, who is an England International joined the Clarets this summer in a £12M move from Middlesbrough and has only made one Premier League starting appearance so far this scoring against Everton in 5-1 defeat on boxing day.  However, Clarets boss Sean Dyche has made it clear he doesn’t want to sell any member of his squad in this window.
