Clarets legend Willie Irvine is recovering in hospital having suffered a fractured skull and several broken bones following a fall at his home. A Northern Ireland International he made 126 appearances, scoring 78 goals for the club between 1960 & 1968, but he had an accident at home on Tuesday evening falling down the stairs.
