Ben Gibson Attracting Interest From Premier League New Boys
According to reports on Teamtalk the Clarets have told defender Ben Gibson that he can leave Turf Moor this summer. The centre back arrived last summer in a £15 million deal from his hometown club Middlesbrough.
After making just one Premier League appearance against Everton on Boxing Day in the 5-1 defeat, the defender who had a number spells on the side line through injury last season, has been told the club are now considering moving the player onto another club, which could include a loan move despite the club turning down a loan offer last week.
Gibson, was linked with a loan move to Turkish side Besiktas last week, which the club have played down. However there is interest in him with newly promoted trio Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Norwich City all keen on signing the Clarets defender.
Former club Middlesbrough and Steve Bruce’s Sheffield Wednesday are also keen, but Gibson who has been called up by England, but he is not looking to drop back down to the Sky Bet Championship.
