Clarets Chasing Marseille Winger Lucas Ocampos
According to the Daily Mail, Clarets boss Sean Dyche has a plan bring in Marseille winger Lucas Ocampos to Turf Moor. Burnley have bid £10 million for the Argentine, however the french club are looking for a bigger transfer fee with Everton also interested in the winger.
Everton are also keen on the midfielder, but if the Clarets can beat the Merseyside outfit to the winger’s signature it would be a real statement of intent from the Lancashire club and would show real ambition.
Ocampos is a real live-wire and he would bring some much need quality to Burnley’s play in the final third. The Argentine is a pacey winger but he is also technically gifted and he would be a real asset for the Clarets.
Convincing him into moving to Turf Moor rather than Goodison Park won’t be easy, but Dyche needs to pull out all the stops and make it happen. If Burnley do manage to bring Ocampos to the club, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for them.
