Sean Dyche Interested In Leeds United Duo

Clarets Chasing Kemar Roofe & Mateusz Klich From Leeds United

According to reports in the Football Insider the Clarets are plotting a double swoop for Leeds United duo Kemar Roofe and Mateusz Klich. The Premier League club have set their sights on the duo as they look to take advantage of United’s financial problems after failing to secure promotion last season.

Sean Dyche’s side are still in the market for another attacking player this summer despite signing Jay Rodriguez from West Brom last week. The established Premier League outfit allowed the contracts of veteran forwards Peter Crouch and John Walters to expire last month and want another forward to completement Rodriguez, Ashley Barnes and former Leeds United ace Chris Wood.

Roofe, has entered the final year of his contract at Leeds United and talks over an extension are yet to result in an agreement. Leeds United are also vulnerable to losing Klich, who reignited his career with an impressive season at Elland Road after Marcelo Bielsa took charge last summer.

The Poland international is out of contract next summer and is attracting admirers following a campaign in which he started all 48 of Leeds’ league and play-off games, scoring 10 goals and supplying nine assists from midfield.

Roofe has flown out with the Leeds United squad for their pre-season tour of Australia and Klich is among the internationals and new signings who have been left behind at Thorp Arch to work on their fitness.
