Anders Lindegaard Signs For Helsingborg
Former Clarets goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has signed for Helsingborg on a two-year contract until the 2021 season. The Danish international will be managed by ex-Celtic star Henrik Larsson at his new club.

Lindegaard signed for Burnley in September 2017 after being released from Preston North End. He made his debut almost a year later after coming on for the injured Nick Pope in the Clarets’ UEFA Europa League second qualifying round match in Aberdeen.
The goalkeeper played 19 Premier League games and featured in both the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup. Speaking about joining Helsingborg Anders Lindegaard said, “It feels very good. I know the fans are fantastic, that the arena is nice and that Helsingborg breathes football.
Both me and the club want the same thing which makes it feel like a perfect match, I know how important culture is in football. It’s not just about skills and how far you can run, it’s about a culture where you want to play for each other, for the club and for wanting to perform. I look forward to getting started with training and matches.”
