Clarets In Three Way Chase For Everton Defender Mason Holgate
Everton defender Mason Holgate is at the centre of a three way Premier League fight between Burnley, Bournemouth and Sheffield United, the three clubs have all shown an interest in a permanent deal. However Everton have valued him at around £10M ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.
It was revealed last month West Brom are also keen on the former England U21 ace, but it is understood the Championship club are struggling to compete financially with the three clubs in the top-flight. Holgate who has two years left on his Goodison Park contract but if the clubs step up their interest it could test Marco Silva’s resolve.
