Clarets Bid For England U21 International Dael Fry
Middlesbrough Football Club have this evening confirmed they have rejected an official bid of £8M from Burnley Football Club for England U21 International Dael Fry. Having made his first-team debut on the opening day of the 2015–16 Sky Bet Championship season he was named Man of the Match in a 0–0 draw against Preston North End.

After making seven appearances in the 2015-16 season he joined Rotherham United on a season long loan in the summer of 2016. However the loan was terminated in January 17 after he had made just ten appearances. Last season was his best season so far having made thirty-nine appearances for Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship.
Despite the lack of domestic honours, Fry has won a number of honours with England at International level including the UEFA U17 Euro Championships (2014), FIFA U20 World Cup (2017), U20 Tournoi Four Nations (2017) and the U21 Toulon Tournament (2018).

As Leicester City consider making a bid for James Tarkowski after Harry Maguire made to Manchester United this morning. Burnley boss Sean Dyche this morning lost out on Gary Cahill and he could see Dael Fry as a future replacement of James Tarkowski should he leave this summer.
