Lancaster City General Manager Set to Leave Club

Shane Hudson Leaving the Giant Axe

Lancaster City have today confirmed that the club’s General Manager Shane Hudson is set to leave the club this week.  During his time at the club he has made a great difference to the functioning of the club behind the scenes, mostly un-noticed improving the admin and operational processes whilst gathering in sponsorship income.

Even more commendable considering he commuted from Burnley several times a week at his own expense. Shane also managed our Reserve team last season on a voluntary basis and the league presented him with an award for outstanding service.

Speaking about leaving the club Shane Hudson said, “Having made the decision to leave Lancaster City, I would like to thank the volunteers and staff for making my time at the club enjoyable.  I have some outstanding memories to take away we me most notably witnessing the league triumph back in 2017.”
