Jay Rodriguez On Inter Milan’s Christmas Shopping List
This morning a number of reports in the Italian press suggest Inter Milan are currently looking a various attacking options for the January transfer window, which includes the name of Premier League and Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez.
Rodriguez, who started his career with his hometown club before joining Southampton and then West Bromwich Albion returned to Turf Moor in the summer after seven years away. Last season the striker scored twenty-two goals in the Sky Bet Championship as West Bromwich Albion looked to return to the Premier League.
This season however the Clarets striker has scored just one goal in seven games from the bench as he finds himself behind Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes who are the preferred striking option of manager Sean Dyche. It would undoubtedly be a surprise in January should the striker transfer to Inter Milan, however a loan deal until the end of the season may not be out of the question.
